Experienced Archivist and Metadata Librarian specializing in Middle Eastern heritage with a focus on preserving and cataloging cultural heritage of Lebanon and Palestine. Served as a Librarian and Archivist at the Palestine Land Studies Center (PLSC) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where I lead initiatives to establish precise cataloging and archival systems. My work includes developing structured policies and a specialized thesaurus focused on Palestinian heritage, as well as archiving social media documentation of the Gaza war, recognized as the first real-time social media archiving project during an ongoing war. Over a decade of experience in cataloging and implementing RDA standards at the Lebanese National Library. Currently, serves as Arabic Resources Specialist at Research and Instruction Services, Jafet Library.

RDA Website for Arabic Materials
Developing a website showcasing policies and practices for the adaptation of Resource Description & Access (RDA) rules for Arabic-language materials.
The website will provide guidelines, examples in MARC 21 format, and practical applications for cataloging and metadata professionals.
Aims to support librarians, archivists, and catalogers working with Arabic collections by enhancing accessibility and standardization of RDA rules.
POHA Thesaurus
Secured an international code for the POHA Thesaurus and currently collaborating with MELA-Palestine Working Group to develop and structure its terms in alignment with global archival and metadata standards.
